I have said it before that opening a Stonemaier game is a gift that never disappoints. The choice of linen paper, the adorable building and outpost miniatures, unique dice, and charming landmarks. The art on the Tapestry cards are delightful, and all of these fit in a custom insert. (Love custom inserts) The Landmarks (for me) are reminiscent of anime; they look close to what they represent, Character-Esque, Art.
We have played plenty of board games, and we do know what we like. RWBY: Combat Ready is an enjoyable experience.

Last Week for a new game Monday, we played Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective: Jack the Ripper & West End Adventures.
We started with the stand-alone adventures, and it is so reminiscent to my childhood FAVORITE, 221 B Baker Street, a choose your own adventure in Olde London.
Do you remember when your kid yelled “Hot Lava” and proceeded to jump from couch to chair to table? Put that feeling into a cooperative game, and you get Fuji the board game.
Weird Trip -One
When the hubby nerd was on the road last year with James Taylor, he experienced the weird and witty on his days off that were very intriguing. Now that he is home (for a bit), he is my tour guide for the eccentric and offbeat ventures.
Last summer at GenCon we meandered towards a room brimming with tables, volunteers and Stonemaier Games. We determined quickly that there were booked sessions to learn, play the various offerings and sold out well before, so circled the room and we were drawn to the game Euphoria, set up for the next group.
The common thread through dystopian games is survival; however, The Crooked Heart, it’s a story about love, sacrifice, and revenge. Game designer and illustrator, Matt Tardiff, has created A Crooked Heart, a traditionally animated video game about a Corgi seeking revenge for the murder of her love, Keiko.
When we find a game that captivates us, we tend to look for other games by that designer. Our love of Pandemic brought us to
