Role-playing games make numerous decisions about how and where to put challenges for the players to overcome. The decisions of the story arcs are dependent on the writer’s caffeine levels is a clever game mechanic. Essentially, the currency of the story line is modified on the group’s judgment.
Mathemagian’s Duel yields low anxiety, quality educational board gaming, perfect Mathing with witty characters, and light brass tacks. This is a math-centered card game that nurtures quick addition and subtraction skills. The game offers enough strategy to keep you excited and engaged, but not so much that each move becomes a tedious decision process.
It may seem like a light game; however, it is cleverly layered with impressive actions and mechanics on the cards. It has a noteworthy basic deck building that each player chooses their starting adventure cards.

The special cards add a nice twist in the expansion. The Bid Reminder card reveals are continually comical and louder as we race to round ten. Our pirate accents have grown, or as our son stated, “grown annoying.” Win-win for us!
New game expectations: Fun fun fun– Characters are adorable – Bringing the family together – Giggles and smiles. Our reality: Severely stressed – Stupid MobGoblins – Flipping the game in the air and some entertaining competition.
The good, the bad, and the beautiful. There is much to keep track of while racing to the Trails end. Your Year Goal, the advantages of the Gear cards, and the special effects of the Canteen both good and bad. The added layers maintain the engagement, and the bad is when you realize that after your turn has passed, you neglected to use an ability—curses under her breath. The beautiful surroundings on every component of this resolutely thought out game.
Happenstance brought Alice is Missing: A Silent Role-Playing Game across my path, and the artwork grabbed my attention.
It all begins with the Mamas and the Papas. These cards make a new experience for each game from the get-go.
